Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite | Weekend requirement: Friday – Tuesday | Projected Start: 09/14/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine the physical and cognitive status of inpatients and outpatients, considering diagnosis and age-specific needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals, incorporating patient and family participation, and complete discharge planning in a timely manner
• Maintain thorough documentation including initial evaluations, daily and weekly progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required notations
• Participate in patient care conferences, family conferences, in-service programs, and departmental and interdepartmental meetings
• Assist with coordination and supervision of Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student programs, as well as Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers
• Support department operations including Performance Improvement activities, productivity standards, and orientation of new associates

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited college or university
• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
• Ability to float to Inpatient Rehab and Acute Care settings as required
• Weekend availability required (Friday – Tuesday shift schedule)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care environment
• Familiarity with supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, or student programs
• Experience with Performance Improvement activities and departmental program development
